Carole prints the patterns on acetate, paints them and uses them as window clings. This one is the Calla Lily panel. A lot of subtle shadings in the background squares, congratulations!

Shelly Begg sent in a photo of her gorgeous Hummingbird panel. Very delicate work!

Shelly also sent her Modest Angel in subtle pastel colors. Very angelic indeed...

The Hummingbird lamp pattern was adapted by Sandy Taylor of Hot Off The Vine

Do visit her website to see many outstanding examples of gourd painting. Her work is awe-inspiring.

The Dragonfly pattern was used as inspiration in painting this gourd.

Thank you Joy Hartley for sharing all these photographs!
Love that signature soldering around the frames.

The Bat pattern has been adapted into a freeform suncatcher by Vicky Stevens for her grandson.

Very wise use of Spectrum's Baroque! Makes the wings look real.

The Marilyn Mason pattern is a hit with the fans, and stained glassers with fans amongst their loved ones, like Betsey!

I'm amazed at how faithfully the colors resemble those on my digitally-produced pattern color key!

A Cornish Rex kitten about to pounce on his own tail, from the Cat Collection.

The blue frame is a perfect contrast for the orange tabby!

Congratulations to Kim for completing the Cuckatoos from the Exotic Bird Collection.

Nice use of glue chip!

Joy crafted the Angel Cat with some very angelic-looking iridescent glass.

Thank you, Vicki Stevens for sending your version of the Japanese symbol for Kanji, Kanji Friendship.

Beautiful red and green WaterGlass from Spectrum.

Vicki also adapted the Baby Elephant panel into a suncatcher.

Nice soldering detail to suggest eyes!

Vicki also shared her photograph of the Ying/Yang symbol.

Made with nice, restful colors!

Roxanne Radner made this delightful version of the Cat Fairy

The colors on the wings are sublime! The overall effect is just outstanding.

Susan Makalinaw adapted the coral reef lampshade to make this magnificient machine embroidery bowl from the Coral Reef Shade

See all the details on her BFC Creations web page.

Parrot lover Kimberley Raddon made this pair of macaws from the Exotic Bird Collection. I love the textured clear glass background with the leaf motif, what an outstanding idea! She also sent me a photo of her blue and gold macaw, Lucy, what a darling!

Ah! The Dragonfly Fairy! Joyce wrote that the wings are made from iridized glass, which doesn't show up here but no matter! The dreamy granite background steals the show.

Richly-colored gladiolas, set in fracture-streamer glass by Joyce Soler. Scrumptious! See the detail below:

Here is a football player expertly crafted by Kimberley.

She added some nifty details on the protective headgear to represent the favorite team of the person who was to receive it as a gift. Well done!

Karen made a special request for a barrel rider. Here it is, in all its glory!

Thank YOU for sharing the picture.

Melissa McKinney has kindly provided some examples where she uses stained glass patterns for etching. Here she used the Geisha as her starting point.

Here she used the Large Mouth Bass box top as inspiration.

It's so nice to see the variety of uses for the line drawings! Thank you, Melissa.

Thank you Joy for sharing that beautiful picture of the Cocker Spaniel.

Isn't he adorable?

Nancy made this beautiful pansy Pansy Hexagon. Some skilled craftmanship here: nice smooth leadlines, and rich patina on the metal.

Nancy also made this German Shepherd out of scrap glass. Hard to believe, every color looks especially selected! The nice thing about working with scraps is that they force you to use color combinations you may not have though of, and often the results are a pleasant surprise.

Here we have Marsha's Humminbird perched prettily on a rudbeckia. Nice choice of green for the iridescent gorgelet!

Presenting Joy's Siamese, Bailey, which was made into a pattern by special request.

The blue background was just the ticket to match his beautiful eyes!

This is Yvonne's stunning Curves lampshade. The pattern is absolutely free, and if I might say so myself, looks very sophisticated, with just a few easily cut pieces. Nicely done!

Joy Hartley crafted the Bear Cub.

The two tones of blackberries, in red and purple, are a lovely touch!

Joy, who is tireless, also made the Meconopsis from the garden flowers collection.

I know it's difficult to see in the small picture, but the dark blue glass has some rich patterning in it.

It must be summer, Janice's Roses are in full bloom.

Very nice display.

A magnificent Paphiopedilum micranthum.

Outstanding glass choices and beautiful copper patina by April Barnes.

Notice the plate stand display. Clever!

I was very happy to receive this photo of the anthurium pattern beautifully rendered by Janice Van Meter.

I love the bold colors, how lovely they must be with the light shining through.

Janice also did the Gypsy Lady ready a crystal ball.

I wonder if she can see the next piece Janice will be making in the future, but I happen to know the colors will be just wonderful!

Take a look at this gorgeous bee fairy crafted by Ree Elmore.

What careful craftmanship and perfect color choice. The pink on the conflowers is just the right tint, and it's expertly soldered.

Congratulations!

Dany of France sewed this decorative geisha wall decoration.

Exquisite! Thank you for sharing your photograph. You are an inspiration to quilters.

Shannon Davis made the Angel Cat as a memorial to her beloved pet. She wrote: "I have been looking for ages for something special to do in memory of one of my cats, who died unexpectedly in my arms four years ago. I am an avid fan of your site, and when I saw the angel cat I almost cried because it was just so perfect! Thanks for all the patterns you share and especially for the angel cat! Now I can look into my bay window and remember Allie."

Thank you Shannon. You put a lot of love in your project, and it shows!

Johanne of Sherbrooke paints faux stained glass. She is very skillful at reproducting art glass textures and she did a fantastic job of the facial features. It's harder than it looks!

Deux autres belles réussites d'Yvonne de France. I never would have dared to make a black cat in stained glass, but in Yvonne's expert hands, the result is just exquisite!

The American Sign Language "frienship" pattern was made at the request of a hearing impaired visitor. Thank you for the great idea!

Ree crafted the Kaleido Box #2. I don't think I've ever seen such vivid copper patina, something that seems to elude a lot of stained glassers.

Congratulations!

What a treat! The 10 photos below are Joy's latest:

I'm delighted to present Joyce Soler's Crocus Fairy and Cymbidium Candleholder.

The pastels on the fairy and the skin tone are just perfect, and the candleholder is on a very classy platform... wonder how it's done!

Kimberley Raddon made the Portland Head Lighthouse for her sister, what a thoughtful gift! The multicolored pieces of Youghiogheny add a lot of appeal to the panel.

Great job with all the little square windows, too!

Johanne from Sherbrooke, Quebec, made these fabulous ballerinas, using stained glass paint. She did a great job with the texture!

Billy Whaley sent in this beautiful ballerina he crafted for this granddaughter that takes ballet. I love his glass selection - click on the image to enlarge and see up close how he made use of baroque to show strands in the hair, and more baroque for subtle stripes in the bodice. Ripple glass in a frothy tutu!

Ballerina

Mary Perry sent in her carefully crafted rendition of the Guardian Angel. She had written to ask for a variation with two boys, instead of a boy and a girl. Outstanding soldering! Nice glass, too.

Guardian Angel

Terry Thillmann made a kite with a celtic knot pattern!

Celtic Knot

Nancy loves birds and has four parrots that are a source of inspiration for her stained glass designs. Unbelievably, she made this suncatcher from scraps from another artist! I wish my scraps were this nice.

These are the free Gouldian Finches.

Nancy also crafted the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, also entirely out of scraps, as a gift for a friend. She adapted the round panel to a graceful octogon. The colours are just perfect, and she's only begun stained glass a few months ago!

Here is another example of Shelly Begg's superlative craftmanship. This pattern is from the Garden Flowers collection.

Thank you Joy Sweet for sharing 3 photos of your latest creations:

Yvonne used very realistic, well chosen colours for the Beagle. Nice detail with the eye pupil!

A beautiful rendition of the Guardian Angel by Billy Whaley.

He sure has a knack for colours!
