Amanita Mushroom stained glass pattern

The bright red, dinner plate-sized caps of Amanita muscaria (fly agaric) are very striking.
They are decorated with prominent white warts (of special interest to glass fusers).
and there are local varieties that range from yellowish-orange to red. The mushroom is poisonous and hallucinogenic. Despite their its shortcomings as food, its bright 'alert' colors render this fungus very popular for artistic depictions, and to highlight woodland scenes.
